Lisa & Brad - Cortijo Pedro Jimenez

Congratulations to Lisa & Brad who were married at Cortijo Pedro Jimenez this week.  I am so excited to share these beautiful images from Radka Horvath Photography with you.  Having spent the past year planning the details of this wedding with Lisa I always knew it was going to be one of my favorite weddings this year and it didnt disappoint.  Lisa had a very good idea of the color and styling she wanted for the day and wanted vintage all the way, so of course I was happy to oblige.  We decided to add some sophistication to the Peaches and Cream colour scheme by adding some elegant silver touches with mercury glass vase centrepieces and silver frames with love notes and various signs.  Lisa then went one better and added a pair of sparkly silver Jimmy Choo´s to tie everything together :) Lisa sourced her own stationary in the UK which all fitted in beautifully on the day.  With Escort Cards instead of traditional Place Names I made a large vintage frame to display these from and I sourced some delightful little bird Table Number holders to tie in with the bird detailing on the stationary.  I added lots of lace to the ceremony gazebo and lace sashes to the chairs to add a feminine and soft feel to complement Lisa style and personality.  It was a beautiful day with a beautiful couple and the absolute highlight was when the guests launched into a flashbomb dance during the evening party complete with Lisa and Brad face masks, hilarious and extremely good.  A real feat as the 16 friends had never practised the dance before together and had only had the chance to learn it through a video sent to them all via email.  Wishing you both a very happy future together xxx

Carla & Steve - El Cortijo de los Caballos

Congratulations to Carla & Steve who married at El Cortijo de los Caballos in May.  Carla wanted a relaxed but elegant style to the day so we chose a country style, over sized bouquet for her and just single stemmed Peonies for her bridesmaids.  The centrepieces were elegant vintage urns with flowers to match the bouquet and I then added some bird details to the styling such as a Love Birds guest book, gorgeous Little silver bird tealight holders were added to the tables and a mix of shabby chic hearts with love quotes and bird detailing were hung around the gardens.  The emphasis was on the music for the day with Carla´s friends writing and singing the ceremony music and two good friends flying over to Dj for the evening, we were tempted to stay and party long in to the night with them as the music was so good but sadly the next wedding was calling!

Nat & Adam - Cortijo Pedro Jimenez

Congratulations to Nat & Adam who married at Cortijo Pedro Jimenez in May.  The color scheme of peach and coral suited the venue and gardens beautifully with an abundance of bougainvilla and geraniums being in bloom on the day.  The ceremony was held under the pérgola and the sea views were amazing with views straight out to the mountains of morocco.  This was then followed by cocktails and canapes on the pool lawn and our beautiful vintage lounge furniture was put to good use. The day was a little breezy so we opted to have the wedding dinner in the middle courtyard which lent a real spanish hacienda feel to the day followed by drinking and dancing by the pool. A fab start to our wedding season at Cortijo Pedro Jimenez!
